The ongoing regional planning has been a powerful, wonderful experience! I also attend and coordinate many local, regional and some national conferences and I must say I find our regional conference is right up there with some of the best and meaningful conferences that I've attended or been involved in planning. This is the last year for this conferene series so please attend and support this regional effort that began in the late 90s Since 2001 I have been a member of the regional planning group that hosts this conference.
