About the New England Regional Minority Health Conference

The New England Regional Minority Health Conference is a biennial event, effected by the New England Regional Minority Health Committee, that allows community health workers to share ideas and experience among themselves. Based on a plan to “Eliminate Health Disparies by 2010″, the first health conference was held in Providence, RI in 1999. The conference has taken place every two years since then, with the final conference slated to begin October 14, 2009.

The conference features numerous workshops that relate to minority health issues and opportunities for networking.
